Governor Gregoire and the City of Seattle bring changes to Washington State –

The down side:

Seattle politicians built a state of the art library and laid off librarians, thus ensuring the building will stay state of the art into the next century.

Washington State politicians institute tax increases to replace and improve highways, which will never need repair because no one will be able to afford to use them.

And, with the elimination of the two-thirds majority requirement to increase taxes the pain will be short termed….we’ll all have starved to death in our cold homes.

The up side:

The illegal aliens sucking up our social services will have to leave because there will be no more taxpayers to support them.

Sea Lions and Canadian Geese can return and not fear murder by a politician.

Suggestion to King County Government –

As the Homeland Security Warden for Boeing Field Northeast perimeter while in the performance of my duties it came to me that a great dollar/electric saving could be made by installation of wind powered turbines co-mingled with trees/power poles.  I believe the initial costs could be recovered in a very short time by the money saved on electricity.

Why are we the best country in the world, why do people from democratic foreign countries willingly give up their citizenship to become Naturalized American citizens, why are we so hated around the world?

Because when a baby girl falls down a well people from all over the country bring their expertise to her successful rescue, when nine miners are trapped we stand still until they are all brought out alive, a missing pregnant woman generates prayer and a massive search, brides, and their families, in our country aren’t held hostage for “wedding gifts” to keep the bride alive, we don’t sexually mutilate our women, we can honor the Creator in our own way, at the occurrence of natural disasters in the countries of our enemies we send aid, and when terrorists hijack commercial aircraft we all come together as a people to rescue strangers and open our hearts and wallets to aid the survivors.

That thugs and terrorists and renegades don’t like us is a good sign.  It means we’re doing something right.

Perhaps because it is such a simple answer is why there are still some who just don’t get it.

Fate caught up with me when I looked my boss in the eye and told him it was the year 2002 in the United States of America when he told me to make coffee.  After that it went down hill.  Terminated for cause – insubordination.  Hell hath no fury like a boss who has just been ‘dissed’.  Everything was liquidated while I tried to decide what I wanted to be when I grew up.  Rough year while I fought the tides of financial ruin………

Seattle and I have both learned to survive the slings and arrows of misfortune.  But Seattle needs to remember who provides the funds for their many politically correct expenditures.  It isn't the undocumented aliens sending millions south each year while drawing on social services.  Seattle elected leaders need to get their collective heads out of their rectums and stop providing a free ride for the drunk and drugged and illegals standing on the corners of downtown Seattle.
