"Valley of the Wolves" - a Turkish film that is anti-Semitic, anti-American and, anti-war we should probably start riots, burn embassies and kill each other.

South Dakota Stench

To protect the life of an unborn child women are relegated back to the chattel, cattle status where they are forced to birth every baby  conceived.

South Dakotans with their infinite kindness and tender mercy for unborn children made no extra provisions to feed these children.  The stench of their hypocrisy can be smelt from here.

it is a very very ugly thing they do.

Hypocrisy

As to the smoking ban.... it is evil hypocrisy where non-smokers have no problem with the budget surplus, created in part by high tobacco taxes, and turning their fellow citizens into criminals for legal use of a legal product in their own country and denying a business owner the right to run their own businesses.

But then this is the oh so PC Washington State.

What’s wrong with this?

Taxpayers would finance more than half the cost of a new NASCAR racetrack in Western Washington under a financing plan released Wednesday.

The track, which would be located in southern Kitsap County near the Bremerton airport, would cost about $345 million. It could hold more than 83,000 people, and would open in 2010.

While: The Georgia Aquarium, bankrolled almost exclusively by a $200 million gift from Bernie Marcus (Home Depot co-founder) opened November 23, 2005 and from the groundbreaking to the opening, the construction process took only 27 months. The 500,000-square-foot aquarium in downtown Atlanta was It's expected to attract as many as 2 million visitors in its first year with what its creators say will be a one-of-a-kind take on fish tanks.

On one hand a world-class aquarium with training and study facilities and on the other a noisy gas guzzling racetrack I’m expected to pay for.  Go figure.

We have high fuel prices, winter is here, and not one of you speaks out for wind or water power to reduce foreign fuel use.

We no longer have porous borders, we have open borders permitting the entry of disease and criminals; and not one of you speaks out about the failure to enforce existing laws.

We have Americans not able to find work and the number of H1B visas is being increased, and not one of you speaks out for the American worker.

American is hemorrhaging jobs to foreign countries and not one of you speaks out against it.

Social Security and Medicare that was meant for American seniors and for those who paid into is being used for foreigners and children, neither of whom paid into it.  And not one of you speaks out for seniors.

Yet Marie Antoinette gets Seattle a new park –

Have you no shame?  I’m just disgusted with the lot of you.

War on Poverty

If now is the time to create poverty reduction and education opportunity programs what does that say for the decades of billions already spent on poverty reduction and education opportunity programs?

Rebuilding from Katrina

It is extremely insulting to learn that we are racists and need to send more money.  Neither I nor anyone in my family owned slaves and she cleans houses for a living.

Gas Tax Increase

Governor

I would have hoped that the double-digit increase in gas prices would have caused you to rethink the gas tax increase but silly me.

Democrats never miss a chance to raise taxes because of their bone deep belief they know how to handle our money better than we do.  Thus perpetuating the plantation mentality that we work for you and you’ll take care of us; with our money.

Katrina Rubble

President Bush, Washington State Senators and Congressional Representatives, Sierra Club, Seattle Times, and Seattle P.I.

We need another WPA.  Put the people to work recycling the rubble.  Recycle the wood, the metal, the glass, plastics, and fabrics….  Build camps for the workers and their families to live in until new homes could be built.

Emergency Preparedness

Letters Editor Seattle Times, Mayor, City Council, and Chief of Police

We now know how Seattle would respond to a city emergency, when a flipped trash truck can block traffic for hours and there weren’t any police directing Traffic.  Either on the Elliott Street approach to the Viaduct or on Alaskan Way.  Bad manners, road rage, and sheer stupidity contributed to the congested trip home.

Thank you Seattle I guess I’d better stock up on water, candles, and kibble.

Respect

It’s about respect.  I have tasted just a small bite of the poisonous fruit that is disrespect.

So in New Orleans you’re poor, but not only poor but poor and Black.  You live a hardscrabble life and get by until coming at you is a category 5 hurricane.

Your City, Parish, and State officials have failed to prepare contingency plans that would provide transportation, water, shelter, and protection for the poor that will be without all of these.  The politicians had no respect for the poor.

You go where you’re told and you survive in conditions that quickly become horrific and still you wait to be rescued.  You hang on tight to the last bit of dignity and humanity that is all you have.  You’re an American after all and America takes care of its own.

But when the rains stop and the water subsides the politicians that didn’t have any respect for you float to the top of the foetid sewer that were your streets and loudly complain about how the “Government” failed you.

I’m mad as hell.  The faces of the American citizens in such desperation is a shame to all of us.  We shouldn’t take foreign aid.  We don’t deserve it.  We were disrespectful of our fellow citizens and we should pay for it.

Damn those politicians who were more interested in self-serving pork than these exact events that were predicted years ago.  Damn them for their hypocrisy.  Damn them for their cowardice.  And, damn them for being disrespectful of their fellow Americans.

Exxon Mobile - the shy Monolith

In reaction to the possibility of drilling for oil in the ANWR I sent a fax to all the major oil companies, worldwide.  That is all but Exxon Mobile.  I had two bad fax numbers so a call was placed to the primary number and the response to the request for the fax number of the Executive Offices was denied, a request to be transferred to the Executive Offices was also denied.  There is no email contact on their website either. Apparently Exxon Mobile will take our money but not our opinion.

Intelligent Design or Evolution?

An analogy, if you please.  Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Christ and my mother raised us to celebrate it.  She also took us to see Santa Claus.  No conflict there; It is a religious and non-religious holiday.  Ask any child.

So; humans, whom the cockroaches may be studying as anthropological finds someday, is easy also.  Our bodies evolved (science) and our souls (religion) were created.

I think that settles it.

Mexican Nationals - undocumented

Mexico has a climate more temperate than the United States.  They have more oil.  They have more coastlines for seafood (but they don’t control pollutants ruining it).  So it is down to the individual character of it’s citizens when their government pimps them out to the United States for the remittance dollars.

The U.N. will begin food airlifts to Niger:

I want to know what the U.N. has been doing for the last 8 months?  Why haven’t they utilized the media to alert the world?  Money? What money do they need?  Why didn’t they ask for it?  The self-aggrandizing U.N. needs to be shut down.  They are playing politics with peoples lives and it is shameful.

(Quotes below from CNN.com)

The U.N. will begin food airlifts to Niger:

“U.N. World Food Program's country director for Niger, Giancarlo Cirri, called the situation "some of the worst hunger I have ever witnessed."

“The United Nations said the famine could have been avoided if the world had heeded its warning eight months ago when aid agencies raised the red flag.”

“WFP's chief logistics officer, Pierre Carrasse, said, "The real problem has not been getting the food to the hungry but getting the donations to pay for the food."

Tuesday, July 19, 2005 - Gates stresses need for qualified help By Kim Peterson, Seattle Times technology reporter

If Microsoft (Bill Gates) is so short on qualified people and only wants to hire recent graduates then why doesn't it go to the high schools, “Calling American high schools "obsolete" and "outdated," Bill Gates urged governors and business leaders to redesign the nation’s educational system so all students—regardless of race or income—can graduate prepared for college and work. Gates delivered the keynote address Saturday, February 26 at the 2005 National Education Summit on High Schools in Washington, D.C.” and pay the college tuition for bright young students with the understanding they will have a job with Microsoft after graduation?

I don't trust a company that in tough American economic times builds a plant in India and lays off American employees, ”November 2004 Microsoft broke ground in India that would double the size of that facility while laying of technical workers in Redmond and slowing the growth of job creation in the United States”.

And then secure in the freedoms bought with other's blood works with China to repress their people – “Microsoft's Chinese staff could not be reached immediately for comment. However, a spokesman at the tech giant's headquarters in Seattle acknowledged that the company is cooperating with the Chinese government to censor its Chinese-language Web portal”.

After doing so much to level the playing field all over the world with it's software and internet services, Microsoft is now just one more unconscionable business with no ethics.

Go Figure

I'm thinking all this largess is off the backs of the taxpayer?  It is soooooo Washington State.

There's a bunch of us senior citizens still working to feed ourselves and the politicians keep coming up with new ways to spend our money on the drugged, drunk, criminal, foreign, baby makers:

By Keith Ervin, Seattle Times staff reporter

King County Executive Ron Sims hopes to fund two projects next year that could house several hundred homeless people at a cost of close to $7.5 million.

The first of those projects, in conjunction with the YWCA of Seattle-King County-Snohomish County and the King County Housing Authority, would convert the county's now-closed Cedar Hills Alcohol Treatment Center into "transformational" housing for women who have been in trouble with the law.

King County would pay for the estimated $4 million renovation of the county facility near Maple Valley so it could house 70 women and 100 to 150 children. The mothers would participate in parenting classes, job training and counseling during their 18- to 24-month stay.

Fate caught up with me when I looked my boss in the eye and told him it was the year 2002 in the United States of America when he told me to make coffee.  After that it went down hill.  Terminated for cause – insubordination.  Hell hath no fury like a boss who has just been ‘dissed’.  Everything was liquidated while I tried to decide what I wanted to be when I grew up.  Rough year while I fought the tides of financial ruin………

Seattle and I have both learned to survive the slings and arrows of misfortune.  But Seattle needs to remember who provides the funds for their many politically correct expenditures.  It isn't the undocumented aliens sending millions south each year while drawing on social services.  Seattle elected leaders need to get their collective heads out of their rectums and stop providing a free ride for the drunk and drugged and illegals standing on the corners of downtown Seattle.
